Sourdough French Toast

Hands down, our favorite way to make this breakfast classic!

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2-3 Tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 (3.5 oz) tub Epicurean Butter Maple Syrup Flavored Butter
  • Fresh berries, for serving
  • Optional: maple syrup, for serving

Directions

  1. Whisk together eggs, milk, salt and maple syrup in a wide, shallow bowl.
  2. Melt 1 tablespoon Maple Syrup Flavored Butter in a nonstick skillet.
  3. Dip two slices of sourdough in the egg batter and add to the hot pan.
  4. Cook until golden brown, flip and cook the other sides. Remove from pan and place in a warm oven.
  5. Wipe out pan and melt another tablespoon of Epicurean Butter and repeat the process until all French toast has been prepared.
  6. Serve with remaining Maple Syrup Flavored Butter, fresh berries and maple syrup, if desired.
